14k Yellow, Rose and White Gold Mix a small amount of mild dish detergent with warm water in a bowl. Put the jewelry into the bowl and let sit for a few minutes. We craft our jewelry using both 18k, 14k and 10k gold. 18k gold is composed of 75% gold, which is alloyed with other metals to make it strong enough for everyday wear. 14k gold is composed of 58.3% gold and 41.7% of other metals, and 10K contains 37.5 percent pure gold and 62.5 percent other metals.
