How to Measure
Each of our window blinds is designed to provide a precise fit for your window. Please note that each blind will come with a 1/2 inch deduction to ensure a snug fit inside the window frame. As a result, the blind will be 1/2 inch smaller than the size listed in the product description.
How to Measure Your Window
To achieve the best fit, follow these measuring instructions carefully:
- Width Measurement: Measure the inside of the window opening from left to right at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. Select the blind size with a width closest to your narrowest measurement.
- Height Measurement: Measure the inside of the window opening from top to bottom at the left, middle, and right. Record the longest measurement. Choose a blind with a height longer than your measurement, as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.
Installation Options
Our blinds are suitable for both inside and outside mounting of a window frame:
- Inside Mount: Install the blind completely inside the window frame. Ensure the window frame is at least 1-1/2 inches deep for a flush inside mount.
- Outside Mount: Measure your window opening and add three inches to determine the appropriate blind size for outside mounting.
