How to Install Safety Treads

  1. Clean surface carefully, using everyday cleanser. Dry completely.
  2. Wipe surface with rubbing alcohol to remove any soap/cleanser residue. Dry completely.
  3. Determine desired pattern.
  4. Remove backing material one tread at a time. Press each tread firmly onto surface, working from center outward.
  5. Make sure all outer edges firmly attach to surface.
  6. Do not touch adhesive or reposition treads during installation.
  7. Allow newly installed treads to stand for 12 hours before use.
Designed for use on smooth surfaces. Some surface textures may affect adhesion. Not for use on refinished surfaces.

How to Clean Safety Treads

Use a damp sponge and non-abrasive cleanser.

How to Remove Safety Treads

  1. Free one edge with fingernail or plastic tool, then peel tread slowly away from surface.
  2. Soak any remaining adhesive residue with spray stain remover, wait 15 minutes, then wipe with a clean, dry rag.
